This program provides a structured and disciplined learning environment, using the OSS curriculum. Credit courses are offered during the day only. All credit courses are 110 hours of study as per Ministry of Education guidelines.
The program is designed for adult learners, 18 years of age and out of school..
We offer two Adult Day School Programs:
KING WILLIAM LEARNING CENTRE: The program operates in 16 week sessions Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. College and Workplace courses are offered in a teacher taught setting.
RED HILL LEARNING CENTRE: Courses are offered in six week sessions on a full or part time basis. Students take one course in the morning (9:00 am-12:30 pm) and/or afternoon (1:00-4:30 pm). Classes are teacher facilitated. College and university courses are available.
For many students, two full successful sessions (8 senior credits) at King William Learning Centre will fulfill the requirements for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Adults who require one or two additional credits to graduate, can earn them through our Independent Study Program.
